Our client, a growing IT solutions provider specialising in network infrastructure and cybersecurity, is seeking a Client Manager to drive new business growth and manage key client relationships.
This hybrid hunter-farmer role focuses on acquiring new enterprise and government clients while developing and expanding existing accounts.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from business development through to account growth.
New Business Development (Primary Focus)
Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise and government clients for network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive new customer acquisition.
Prepare and manage proposals and tenders, working closely with the Pre-Sales team to develop appropriate solution scopes.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
Account Management & Growth
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring enquiries and business needs are managed promptly and professionally.
Identify opportunities for account growth through renewals, upselling, cross-selling, and solution expansion.
Monitor account performance, maintain sales forecasts, track key account metrics, and provide regular updates to clients and management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pre-Sales, Project Management, and Customer Success, to ensure successful project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent practical experience in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, Communications, or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in sales and business development, account management, key account management, or a similar client-facing B2B sales role.
Experience working with a System Integrator (SI), Managed Services Provider (MSP), IT reseller, or a similar technology solutions environment. Experience in network infrastructure and/or cybersecurity solutions is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with enterprise and/or government clients.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in English is required.
Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to support business communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders, as this role involves regular written and verbal interactions in Mandarin.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers across different organisational levels.
Experience in bid or tender management is an advantage.
