Job Description - DISTRICT RETAIL MANAGER

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented District Manager.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing a network of stores within your assigned district, driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Store Managers to achieve ambitious sales targets and exceed customer service expectations.
  • Develop and implement a strategic district sales plan aligned with company's overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Store Managers to assess performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure timely product availability across all stores in your district.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, including sales, profitability, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement effective marketing and promotional initiatives to drive foot traffic and sales within your district.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new Store Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations across your district.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize district profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, vendors, and local community members.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on district performance and provide insights to support strategic decision making.
  • Travel throughout your assigned district to visit stores, meet with teams, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving profitable growth in a multi-store environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with retail inventory management systems a plus.

70% travel to outlets & 30% office base
