Equipment Sales Representative

Job Summary:

• Responsible for driving the sales and market growth of Volvo CE by developing new customers, strengthening existing accounts and providing suitable equipment solutions based on customer needs 
• Develop and execute sales plan to achieve sales targets, market share, customer satisfaction by driving and supporting customer in the sales of VCE products and solutions to optimize long-term profitability

Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities:

• Primary commercial interface between Volvo CE and direct customers
• Maintain regular customer visits and ensure strong market coverage
• Identify new customers, projects and business opportunities
• Promote VCE products across different industries
• Understand customer requirements, challenges and recommend suitable machines and solutions to customers
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender documents and sales agreements
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within Company’s approval framework
• Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, customer feedback
• Coordinate with service, parts, finance and technical teams to support customers
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecast and reports
• Promote service and aftermarket solutions
• Follow-up on customer payments and receivable when required

Required knowledge & experience:

Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

• Degree or Diploma in engineering, business or related fields from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, including 1 year in construction equipment, heavy machinery or related industry. Technical knowledge on CE will be an added advantage
• Strong B2B sales, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of customer application
• Customer focus, target driven. Business savvy
• Able to work independently, team player, can take pressure in a competitive environment
• Excellent communication in English, able to converse in Chinese dialects
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities
