Store Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the assigned sales channel, reporting directly to Management.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow existing business and identify new sales opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Work closely with the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Supervise the daily operations of fruit stalls, including setup, merchandising, stock management, and closing procedures.
• Monitor product quality, pricing, and inventory to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Analyse market demand and sales trends to support business planning and promotional activities.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency at all times.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the fruits and vegetables industry.
2. Hands-on experience managing fruit stalls and daily retail operations.
3. Strong knowledge of durians and fruits from various countries and regions.
4. Familiar with fruit grading, quality assessment, pricing, and seasonal market trends.
5. Ability to identify and respond to sales and consumer trends effectively.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
7. Able to work split shifts, night shifts, weekday evenings, weekends, and public holidays, especially during peak seasons.
8. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
