Full-Time Retail Staff

The Digicam Depository is Singapore’s first and largest dedicated digicam store, specialising in sourcing, refurbishing, and retailing second-hand digital compact cameras. The Digicam Depository is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Retail & Operations Executive to support both in-store retail and daily operational tasks. This is a hybrid role that combines customer-facing sales with back-office and operational support, ensuring the store runs smoothly from floor to systems.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Customer Experience

• Assist customers with product enquiries and camera recommendations

• Handle in-store sales, payments, and POS transactions

• Deliver a friendly, honest, and helpful customer experience

• Support product launches, events, and busy retail periods
  

Store Operations

• Support daily opening and closing procedures

• Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and product displays

• Assist with restocking, merchandising, and inventory checks

• Pack orders and prepare items for collection or dispatch
  

Operations & Administration

• Support basic data entry for sales, inventory, and operations

• Assist with tracking stock movement and internal records

• Help prepare simple daily or weekly operational reports

• Flag operational issues, discrepancies, or stock concerns
  

Process & Workflow Support

• Follow standard operating procedures accurately

• Assist in improving workflows and efficiency where needed

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail, operations, or customer service is preferred

• Comfortable working both front-of-house and behind the scenes

• Basic computer skills

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Reliable, proactive, and able to multitask

• Able to work weekends and retail hours
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in specialty retail or electronics

• Interest in cameras, photography, or tech

• Familiarity with inventory or basic reporting tools
