We are seeking an energetic, business-minded, and experienced Hair Salon Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our styling team, and drive branch revenue. The ideal candidate will blend strong commercial acumen with a deep passion for the hair industry. Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in salon management, retail store management, or hospitality operations. Experience working specifically within a fast-paced hair or beauty studio is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with professional hair care brands, chemical treatments (coloring, perming, rebonding), and trending styles. (Note: Technical hairdressing skills are a strong plus but not mandatory if administrative leadership is exceptional).
Software Skills: Proficient in using salon POS systems, scheduling software, and basic Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of managing a team of 10+ retail staff.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English to converse with diverse clients. Fluency in Mandarin or other local languages is an advantage when communicating with local suppliers and team demographics.
Availability: Flexible and willing to work retail hours, including late shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
