Manage and drive sales performance for the Polymer business across ASEAN and China, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
Lead, coach, and develop the Polymer sales team, including Segment Managers (Healthcare Polymer, Mobility, Consumer Electronics) to achieve defined KPIs and business targets.
Support the development and execution of regional sales and business development strategies in alignment with group objectives.
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
Identify and assess new market opportunities and support the introduction of new products or solutions relevant to the Polymer business.
Collaborate with Product Management and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient supply, pricing, and customer service for the region.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide regular business intelligence reports to management.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for the Polymer business.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable standards (e.g., AS9120 AQMS, ISO 14001 EMS, or other relevant guidelines as required).
Competency Requirements:
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant working experience in sales or business development, preferably within the polymers or chemical industry.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a sales team.
Solid understanding of market dynamics, customer relationship management, and segment-based sales approaches.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent; Master’s degree is an advantage.
