The Inside Sales Representative will support AQS’s sales growth by managing partner engagement, following up on sales opportunities, supporting the Business Development Managers, and ensuring consistent sales activities across AQS’s product portfolio.
This role is focused on supporting system integrators, resellers, and channel partners. The Inside Sales Representative will not engage end users directly. The role will work closely with the Business Development Managers, Technical Team, Sales Operations Team, and Finance Team to ensure that partners receive timely commercial and product support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Engagement and Follow-Up
Maintain regular communication with existing AQS partners.
Follow up with partners on quotations, opportunities, demo requests, and pending actions.
Track partner activities and ensure follow-ups are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Support the Business Development Managers in maintaining regular partner engagement.
2. Sales Opportunity Support
Assist in qualifying sales opportunities received from partners.
Gather basic project information, including product requirements, timeline, quantity, budget, and decision process.
Coordinate internally with the relevant Business Development Manager or Technical Team for product recommendations or technical validation.
Support the sales team in tracking open opportunities and ensuring that next steps are clearly followed up.
Help maintain visibility of active opportunities and partner requirements.
3. Quotation and Commercial Support
Work with Sales Operations to prepare and follow up on quotations.
Ensure quotation details are accurate, including product model, quantity, pricing, validity, lead time, and payment terms.
Follow up with partners on quotation status, expected order timeline, and pending purchase orders.
Escalate pricing requests, special discount requests, or credit term requests to the relevant manager for review.
Assist in tracking outstanding quotations and potential orders.
4. Reporting and Sales Administration
Maintain accurate records of partner activities, opportunities, follow-ups, and sales updates.
Prepare weekly sales activity reports, including partner calls, meetings arranged, quotations followed up, and opportunities identified.
Support management with sales data, pipeline updates, and partner activity reports when required.
Ensure sales-related information is properly recorded and updated.
5. Internal Coordination
Work closely with Business Development Managers, Technical Team, Sales Operations, and Finance.
Ensure partner requests are routed to the correct internal team.
Follow up internally to ensure responses are provided to partners in a timely manner.
Support smooth communication between sales, operations, technical, and finance teams.
Assist in coordinating demo requests, technical clarifications, and commercial follow-ups where required.
Required Skills and Attributes
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable communicating with partners through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
Ability to understand basic product and commercial information.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Able to work closely with sales, technical, operations, and finance teams.
Responsible, responsive, and partner-focused.
Able to manage multiple follow-ups and tasks in a structured manner.
Experience in IT, AV, UC, distribution, or channel sales will be an advantage.
Reporting Line
The Inside Sales Representative will report to the General Manager and will work closely with the Business Development Managers.
Role Objective
The main objective of this role is to strengthen AQS’s partner engagement, improve sales follow-up discipline, support opportunity development, and help the sales team convert partner activities into revenue.
