Japanese-Speaking Sales Manager (Satellite Communications)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development plans and sales strategies aligned with organisational objectives to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Engage prospective customers to understand their requirements and identify suitable solutions.
• Prepare and deliver quotations and commercial proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to develop high-quality, customer-centric proposals.
• Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Execute business plans to achieve sales performance targets and corporate goals.
• Coordinate with Technical and Network Support teams to ensure smooth delivery of systems, services, and timely resolution of customer enquiries.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support retention and growth.

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Established network with ship managers/owners is an added advantage.
• Sales network within the marine industry and knowledge of maritime satellite services is an added advantage.
• Experience as a radio officer is an added advantage.
