(JC) Assistant Merchandising Manager - $5000

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Industry: Fashion Apparel/Footwear
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Monthly Base Salary: Up to SGD 5,000 per month
• Work Location: MacPherson, Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, review, consolidate, and analyze sales performance of product categories to maximize sales and manage inventory efficiently.
• Complete assortment analytics to develop seasonal category strategies and assortment plans as directed by the Merchandising Manager.
• Monitor and analyze sales, stock levels, months to clear, and stock aging to make appropriate recommendations at both the individual SKU and brand levels.
• Achieve key performance metrics for product categories.
• Plan and monitor purchases in alignment with regional guidelines.
• Maintain appropriate and effective merchandising standards, including replenishment, consolidation, and proper SKU count in stores.
• Monitor market competition and purchases to date vs. target purchases to proactively suggest and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal merchandising and buying reports to optimize sales, margin, and inventory management.
• Assist in managing and leading the Merchandising team.

You will need: -

• Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Retail/Fashion/Business or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar managerial position in the fashion apparel/footwear industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
