(JC) Senior Merchandiser - $4000

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Monthly Base Salary: Up to SGD 4,000 per month
• Industry: Fashion Apparel/Footwear
• Work Schedule: 5 Days (Monday to Friday), Standard Office Hours
• Location: MacPherson, Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify both opportunities and potential risks.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that merchandising efforts are effectively aligned with promotional campaigns.
• Maintain the categorization of Product Item Attributes to ensure accurate classification.
• Perform weekly analysis of product sell-through and generate monthly data reports as required.
• Provide extensive merchandising support and engage in cross-functional collaboration on key projects.
• Take full accountability for sales performance, pricing strategies, inventory management, buying decisions, allocation processes, grouping strategies, and markdown plans.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of product launches, and liaise with the Logistics Department to ensure smooth delivery.
• Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to develop and implement in-store display guidelines.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the merchandising team, fostering their development and enhancing their skills and knowledge.
• Regularly train and mentor team members to help them grow professionally.
• Ensure efficient reporting to the Department Head on weekly action plans, keeping them informed of progress and any challenges faced.

You will need: -

• Diploma / Degree in Business, Retail Management, Statistics, Business Analytics.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Merchandising, Retail Buying, or relevant field.
• General knowledge of Merchandising and Buying processes, with strong product knowledge.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel with good analytical skills.
