Medical Sales Representative – Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Present and promote nutraceutical or medical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals to increase product adoption
• Explain product benefits, usage, dosage, and possible side effects clearly to healthcare professionals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals through regular contact and follow-ups to build trust and encourage product prescriptions
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base by planning and executing effective territory sales strategies
• Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through strategic sales activities
• Stay updated on product information, medical data, and industry trends to provide accurate and current knowledge during sales engagements
• Analyze competitors’ products and market positioning to inform sales tactics and product differentiation
• Arrange and conduct meetings, seminars, and product demonstrations to effectively communicate product value to healthcare professionals or clinics
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback; submit regular sales reports to management for performance tracking
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to gather customer feedback and improve product positioning
• Coordinate with distributors or pharmacies to ensure product availability and manage inventory levels to prevent supply issues
• Follow healthcare regulations and company policies to ensure ethical promotion and compliance in all sales activities.
