As a Retail Sales Associate, you are the face of BUZUD. This is a unique retail role that goes beyond typical transactions; you will provide a warm, consultative experience, demonstrating high-tech medical and lifestyle devices to help customers improve their quality of life. You will guide consumers—ranging from young tech enthusiasts to the elderly—on how to integrate our devices into their daily health routines.
Consultative Value Selling: Greet walk-in showroom customers, actively listening to understand their unique health, medical, or lifestyle goals.
Live Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging, live demonstrations of BUZUD products (e.g., explaining how a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) sensor tracks glucose, or how to read heart metrics on an ECG smart ring).
Hit Targets: Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals by cross-selling and upselling complementary health accessories or consumer wellness packages.
Technical Onboarding: Assist existing customers with device troubleshooting, basic technical support, hardware calibration, and pairing devices to mobile health apps.
Premium Upkeep: Maintain an immaculate, high-end showroom floor and ensure all interactive display units are fully charged, functional, and clean.
POS & Care Operations: Handle cash and cashless transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Assist with product warranties, exchanges, and the basic coordination of equipment rentals (e.g., oxygen concentrators).
Stock Management: Monitor stock levels on the retail floor, manage timely replenishment from the stockroom, and participate in regular inventory audits.
Insights: Document customer feedback and common technical queries in our CRM system, reporting trends to management to help improve the overall patient experience.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, hospitality, or frontline customer service. Prior experience in consumer electronics, health supplements, medical devices, or wellness retail is a major advantage.
Tech Savviness: Highly comfortable learning, utilizing, and explaining mobile applications and health-tech hardware.
Patience & Empathy: Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate, patient approach—especially when teaching elderly customers how to navigate tech platforms.
Language Proficiency: Strong command of English. Fluency in a second language (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, or local dialects) is highly valued to serve our diverse demographic.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a standard retail schedule (often structured as a 5.5-day work week, including rotational shifts on weekends).
