Recruitment Manager (Data Centers)

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced senior contract recruitment leader to drive the growth and expansion of its Data Centre Contract Recruitment business across Southeast Asia.

This position will lead the development of contract staffing, workforce solutions and contingent labour programmes supporting the rapidly expanding data centre sector across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and wider ASEAN markets.

The successful candidate will combine strong business development capability with expertise in contract recruitment, contractor management and project-based workforce solutions. The role will focus on supporting hyperscalers, colocation providers, EPC contractors, engineering consultancies, technology integrators and end-users involved in the planning, construction, commissioning and operation of data centre infrastructure.

Operating in a senior 360 leadership capacity, the individual will play a key role in establishing NES Fircroft as a leading workforce solutions partner within the Southeast Asian data centre market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & ClientAcquisition

• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for Data Centre Contract Recruitment across Southeast Asia.
• Identify, engage and secure new contract staffing opportunities with hyperscalers, colocation providers, data centre developers, EPC contractors and engineering consultancies.
• Build senior relationships with hiring managers, project directors, procurement leaders and workforce planning teams.
• Drive new business through market mapping, networking, referrals and targeted client engagement.
• Expand existing client relationships through contractor workforce solutions, project staffing and contingent workforce programmes.
• Lead commercial discussions, supplier agreements, MSP engagements, RFPs, RFQs and SOW opportunities.

Contract Recruitment & Talent Delivery

• Manage the complete contract recruitment lifecycle from requirement qualification through to onboarding and mobilisation.
• Source, engage and deploy professionals across all stages of data centre development including:
• Build talent pools across Southeast Asia to support current and future client requirements.
• Deliver against client SLAs, mobilisation timelines and workforce plans.

Contractor Workforce Management

• Oversee contractor onboarding, compliance, payroll coordination and ongoing lifecycle management.
• Support contractor extensions, renewals and redeployment opportunities.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning, rate benchmarking and market intelligence.
• Partner closely with operations and shared service teams to ensure efficient mobilisation and contractor support.

Workforce Solutions & Project Staffing

• Develop workforce solutions supporting major data centre construction and operational programmes.
• Support clients with staff augmentation, project-based hiring, managed workforce and MSP engagements.
• Collaborate with regional leadership teams on strategic workforce planning initiatives.
• Contribute to scalable workforce solutions supporting large project mobilisation requirements.

Regional Market Development

• Provide regular market intelligence covering:
• Data centre investment activity
• Hyperscaler expansion
• Contractor availability
• Salary and rate benchmarking
• Workforce trends across Southeast Asia
• Identify emerging markets and growth opportunities for NES Fircroft.
• Support regional expansion plans and strategic client acquisition initiatives.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with recruitment, sales, operations and finance teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
• Mentor and support recruiters and delivery consultants working within the data centre vertical.
• Collaborate with offshore and regional delivery teams to maximise candidate generation capability.
• Represent NES Fircroft at industry conferences, networking events and client meetings across the region.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in contract recruitment, workforce solutions or staffing.
• Strong experience within the Singapore market with exposure to broader Southeast Asian markets.
• Proven track record of business development, client acquisition and revenue generation.
• Demonstrated success in managing contractor populations and contingent workforce programmes.
• Experience delivering staffing solutions for data centres, critical infrastructure, technology, engineering, telecommunications or project-based environments.
• Experience managing MSP, RPO, SOW or staff augmentation engagements.
• Strong understanding of contractor management, workforce planning and project mobilisation.
• Experience leading recruitment teams and coordinating multi-country delivery resources.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and stakeholder management capability.

Preferred Experience

• Existing network across hyperscalers, colocation providers, EPCs, technology integrators and data centre operators.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
• Experience leading regional workforce solutions across multiple APAC markets.
• Exposure to high-growth technology, cloud, infrastructure or digital transformation environments.
• Proven capability in opening new accounts and expanding strategic client relationships across multiple countries.
• Experience managing large contractor workforces and complex mobilisation programmes.
