The Regional Sales Manager assumes a crucial role in collaboration with the Partner to accomplish the Company's goals and objectives. Based in Singapore, this individual will oversee regional portfolios. By employing effective planning and budgeting strategies, the Manager will strive to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets. Additionally, they will formulate sales strategies and tactics to engage potential clients, convert leads into business deals, and foster strong relationships with clients.
Main Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
• Assume direct sales responsibility for the region, delineated by brand, country, or category as per PLS’s strategy, including quarterly targets and due diligence obligations.
• Execute all sales planning and reporting tasks, including pipeline development, gap analyses, forecasting, and re-forecasting as necessitated by PLS-SEA and its clients.
• Cultivate expertise in pertinent areas to optimize performance while concurrently building brands and a sustainable business.
Team/Client Management and Service
• Provide leadership and direction to regional teams, fostering alignment with a shared strategy.
• Manage clients, ensuring adherence to Licensors’ policies, procedures, and guidelines, while supporting licensees in meeting obligations and maximizing performance.
• Collaborate with the Partner to design a comprehensive business management calendar, encompassing sales strategy, marketing activities, and brand-building objectives, and oversee regional team activities related to client services.
Monitor Licensee Obligations
• Conduct regular business reviews with key licensees to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including product development, distribution channel penetration, and advertising and promotion plans.
• Collaborate closely with the PLS regional marketing team to guide and influence key retail accounts, facilitating prominent product placement at retail outlets.
Account Receivables
• Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure timely remittance of License Fees and submission of monthly/quarterly royalty reports by licensees.
Job Requirements:
• Possess a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong background in business development, sales, and brand management responsibilities.
