RETAIL ASSISTANT

Job Summary

Join our racket sports retail team to assist customers, manage retail operations, and support sales growth while sharing your passion for badminton and pickleball.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering product enquiries and recommending suitable racket sports equipment to meet their needs
• Provide after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Achieve individual and team sales targets by engaging customers effectively and applying product knowledge
• Process cashiering and payment transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth checkout
• Support daily retail operations to maintain smooth store functioning and customer experience
• Maintain store cleanliness and uphold visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment
• Manage stock replenishment and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure product availability
• Learn and apply product specifications across major badminton and sports brands to advise customers confidently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Passion for badminton, pickleball, or other racket sports to connect with customers authentically
• Customer-oriented communication skills to engage and assist diverse customers effectively
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Comfortable working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of badminton equipment to provide informed recommendations
• Experience in retail sales, inventory management, or e-commerce fulfilment is preferred
• Racket stringing experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
