Kapas Living is a fast-growing home and bedding brand known for premium-quality bedsheets, pillows, duvets, bath essentials, and everyday home products at fair prices.

As we open our new store at Tampines 1, we are looking for friendly, responsible, and sales-driven Retail Associates to join our Singapore team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new store, a new team, and a growing brand from the early stage.

Role Overview

As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of Kapas Living in-store. Your main role is to create a warm and helpful shopping experience, understand what customers need, recommend the right products, and help drive store sales.

Because this is a new store, we are especially looking for people who are excited to join a new team, help shape the store culture, and grow together with the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable Kapas Living products

  • Explain product details such as fabric type, material benefits, sizing, care instructions, and product features

  • Drive individual and store sales performance

  • Support customers with product selection, gifting, bundles, and promotions

  • Handle cashiering, POS transactions, exchanges, refunds, and basic customer enquiries

  • Keep the store clean, organised, and visually presentable

  • Replenish products and maintain attractive product displays

  • Assist with stock receiving, stock checks, and inventory accuracy

  • Support store campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities

  • Share customer feedback and sales insights with the store manager

  • Work closely with the team to achieve store targets

  • Help build a positive, reliable, and high-standard store culture from day one

Requirements

  • Prior experience in retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality is preferred

  • Experience in bedding, home living, furniture, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle retail is a plus

  • Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with customers

  • Sales-driven with a positive attitude

  • Interested in joining a new team and helping to build a new store

  • Able to learn product knowledge quickly

  • Responsible, punctual, and well-groomed

  • Willing to take initiative and support teammates when needed

  • Able to work retail shifts, weekends, and public holidays

  • Basic cashiering or POS experience is an advantage

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin or Malay is a plus but not required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin/Malay to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Malay-speaking clients.

Working Hours

Retail shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays. Exact roster will be confirmed by store management.
