Retail Manager

Our client is a globally recognized footwear brand with over a century of experience. Operating in 70+ countries with 5,300+ stores, they are known for high-quality, stylish, and affordable shoes for all ages. This brand is a market leader, renowned for durability and contemporary design, and is committed to expanding its global presence and customer satisfaction.

They are looking for Retail Manager.

• Develop and implement the operational business plan for the assigned region.
• Collaborate with the Product Development and Merchandise Managers to establish a shoe line.
• Suggest pricing policies, maintain updated calculations on shoe categories, and monitor store profitability (EBIT).
• Arrange necessary budget outlays for business spending.
• Optimize resources to control expenses, focusing on personnel costs and productivity.
• Ensure expenditures are within approved limits; review weekly profit and loss accounts and take corrective actions
• Continuously review and monitor the performance of all family stores in the designated region, providing direction, support, and corrective actions to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure business growth compared to the previous year
• Maintain stock levels within approved standards while ensuring proper supply to stores.
• Control the quality and age of merchandise, taking action on liquidation of seasonal or slow-moving articles.
• Monitor competitors' stores and stay updated on marketplace events to devise competitive strategies.
• Regularly visit stores to plan market strategies, review stock status and supply, and engage with shop managers and employees to optimize product offerings.
• Lead aggressive business growth through strategic store openings, relocations, and closures to enhance market share as per expansion plan.
• Ensure legal compliance across all stores in the region.
• Implement administrative policies smoothly and efficiently.
• Prepare and distribute general weekly/monthly reports.
• Recruit and Train staff

Requirements:

• Min, 3 years or more.
• Proven experience as a Retail Management, preferably in the footwear and apparel industry. Other retail industry are welcome to apply
• Ability to manage expenditures and optimize resources effectively.
• Strong understanding of retail fashions products and market trends.
• Ability to develop competitive strategies and operational planning
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
