Retail Sales Specialist

Role Description

The Vintage Jewellery Sales, DIY and Content Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based at Echo Vintage in Singapore.

The role involves welcoming customers, introducing the store’s vintage jewellery and accessories, and recommending suitable pieces based on their preferences. The employee will also assist customers with DIY jewellery-making activities, including selecting materials, matching components, providing guidance and assembling or adjusting selected jewellery pieces.

This position is also responsible for creating daily visual content for the store. Duties include taking photos and short videos of vintage jewellery, DIY creations, store displays and events, as well as preparing content suitable for Instagram, Xiaohongshu and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome customers and provide professional, friendly service

* Introduce the styles, materials, features and care methods of vintage jewellery

* Assist customers in selecting jewellery, accessories and DIY materials

* Create, assemble and adjust bracelets, necklaces, earrings and other accessories

* Take photos and short videos of products, DIY creations, events and the store environment

* Assist with basic styling, composition, lighting adjustments and photo editing

* Support social media content creation, livestreams and promotional activities

* Maintain store displays and organise products and DIY materials

* Respond to in-store and online customer enquiries

* Update sales, inventory and product records

* Continuously learn about vintage jewellery and retro accessories

Qualifications

Candidates should have a genuine interest in vintage jewellery, retro fashion, accessories and handmade crafts, with a willingness to learn and develop their product knowledge.

Basic photography and short-form video skills are required. Candidates who understand simple composition, product styling and mobile photo editing will have an advantage.

Candidates should have basic crafting skills and be detail-oriented, patient and comfortable assembling, matching and making simple adjustments to jewellery.

Strong communication and customer service skills are required, with the ability to understand customer preferences and provide suitable recommendations.

Previous experience in jewellery, fashion retail, photography, social media, handicrafts or customer service is preferred. Candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply if they are willing to learn and receive training.

Familiarity with Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok or other social media platforms is an advantage.
