Salary: Competitive - commensurate with experience + commission
Location: Office at Kaki Bukit (with travel to client sites)
About Us
Butterfly 3D Space is a Singapore-based company supplying disposable foodware and packaging supplies to businesses and consumers across Singapore.
Our FMCG product range includes disposable cups, food containers, food bowls, fruits and vegetable trays, plastic bags, stretch film, polymailer bags, ziplock bags, and garbage bags - serving F&B operators, retailers, e-commerce sellers, logistics companies, and individual consumers.
As we accelerate our B2B growth, we are looking for a driven, hunter-mentality Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team and aggressively grow our customer base across Singapore.
Role Overview
This is a hunter role. We are looking for someone who thrives on finding new business, opening new accounts, and closing deals - not just managing existing ones. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new B2B and B2C sales opportunities across Singapore, building a pipeline of prospects, and converting them into long-term clients.
You will own the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and prospecting, through to pitching, negotiating, and closing while also supporting marketing efforts to raise brand awareness and generate inbound enquiries. This is a role for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and energised by the challenge of growing a business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
• Proactively identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities across target sectors such as F&B operators, hawkers, caterers, food manufacturers, retailers, e-commerce sellers, warehouses, logistics companies, offices, and event organisers.
• Conduct cold outreach via email, phone, and in-person visits to generate new leads and open new accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end from initial prospecting and outreach through to quotation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Travel to meet prospective and existing clients at their premises across Singapore including site visits, product presentations, and in-person negotiations.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the full FMCG product range.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Marketing & Brand Building
• Support the planning and execution of marketing activities to drive brand awareness and generate inbound leads including online promotions, product launches, and trade outreach.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to inform pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Serve as the dedicated point of contact for your client portfolio - managing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a consistently high level of service.
• Conduct regular client check-ins to ensure satisfaction, identify evolving needs, and secure repeat business.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure client orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
• Prepare regular sales reports covering pipeline status, activity summaries, and closed deals.
• Track and report on key sales metrics including new accounts opened, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
• Provide ongoing market feedback to the team including customer insights, competitor pricing, product demand trends, and new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities.
Requirements
Essential
• Eligible to work in Singapore without company sponsorship.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese required to communicate effectively with both customers and suppliers.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - comfortable engaging with decision-makers at all levels.
• A hunter mentality - self-motivated, driven, and proactive in seeking out and closing new business.
• Computer literate - proficient with email, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.
• Willing and able to travel to client sites across Singapore.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prospects and clients simultaneously.
Advantageous (Not Required)
• Prior experience in FMCG sales, B2B sales, or business development.
• Existing network of contacts in F&B, retail, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.
• Experience with cold outreach, lead generation, or territory management.
• Familiarity with disposable foodware, packaging supplies, or related product categories.
• Experience supporting or executing marketing campaigns alongside a sales role.
