Drive business growth in the specialty chemicals sector across APAC by managing customer relationships, coordinating sales and technical support, and supporting market development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with existing and new customers, distributors, and partners to drive business growth across APAC in specialty chemicals
Coordinate and resolve sales and technical enquiries by collaborating with Sales, Technical, and Application teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Oversee order processing, shipment coordination, and invoicing by liaising effectively with customers and the Sales Administration team
Monitor customer orders to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment aligned with business commitments
Support preparation and consolidation of sales reports, forecasts, and distributor performance updates for informed decision-making
Conduct overseas visits to customers and distributors to align with business plans and expand market development
Maintain accurate documentation of sales enquiries, quotations, and customer records while managing stocks of brochures and product samples
Conduct market research and surveys on cosmetic and specialty chemical products to identify trends, applications, and market size, sharing actionable insights with Sales and Technical teams
Actively support and participate in exhibitions, supplier days, and customer engagement events to enhance brand presence
Share updates on new data, formulations, and market developments with distributors across APAC markets to maintain competitive advantage
Requirements
Basic knowledge and hands-on exposure to cosmetic ingredients to effectively support product development and sales activities
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Chemical Process Technology, Industrial Chemistry, or related chemistry disciplines
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in formulation development for personal care products or sales of personal care ingredients
