Sales Assistant (Storage Specialist)

About the role

Join our dynamic team at StorHub as a Sales Assistant (Storage Specialist). This full-time role offers a competitive base salary plus monthly performance incentives, giving you the opportunity to grow your earnings while developing your retail and customer service skills. You will be playing a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our customers' storage needs.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the assigned site.

2. Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing solutions.

3. Improve sales objectives with prospective customers through unit rentals, insurance of rentals, and retail sales of moving materials.

4. Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.

5. Handle cash and balance receipts, pursue collections, post payments with integrity.

6. Ensure the facility meets the highest of cleanliness standards.

7. Run errands for the facility and travel as needed to other facilities.

8. Manage expenses to ensure property standards are met and company policies are in force.

9. Responsible for any security breaches, cash and stock discrepancies and customer complaints.

What we're looking for

1. Understanding of best practices in the Self-Storage industry is a plus

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service

3. Strong computer skills and able to perform independently and excel in a results-driven environment

4. Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude

5. A team-player who is willing to take on a variety of tasks

Working Arrangement:

Alternate 5.5-day work week (Monday–Friday, with alternate Saturday half-day)
