The Organisation

Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) is located at level one of Design Orchard which is nested in the centre of Orchard Road. The retail showcase is a joint government project and its objective is to provide a physical shop front at the renowned tourist belt for new and emerging designers.

DORS has the largest collection of locally based designer brands in Singapore. Textile and Fashion Federation (TAFF) has been appointed by STB in July to operate the space with effect from 1 Aug 2020.

This position reports to our ‘SaiKang Warrior’ aka our Store Manager.

Job Description

You will Value Add By

• Managing in day to day operations of the store.

• Perform cashiering duties such as handling the point-of-sale, NETS system and tax refund.

• Housekeeping duties in keeping stores clean and tidy.

• Meet sales goals by motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the management team.

• Manage stock levels and assist in making decisions with regards to stock control.

• Ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction through excellent service.

• Ensure that safety, security, and administration procedures are followed.

• Have good product knowledge of the products in store.

• Clear communication to the customers with the on-going promotions in store.

• Performing any other tasks as assigned by your ‘SaiKang Warrior’.
