We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Regional Sales Executive to spearhead business growth and manage sales efforts within a defined territory. In this role, you will execute the group’s overarching sales strategies to uncover new market opportunities, maximize revenue, and build deep relationships with key decision-makers. Balancing commercial strategy with hands-on execution, you will oversee the full sales lifecycle—from initial technical concept proposals and resource mobilization to production coordination and account settlement.
Regional Strategy & Territory Management: Direct and monitor regional sales efforts, distributor/representative actions, competitor movements, and customer accounts; manage regional sales forecasting, budgeting, and cost/expense controls.
Business Development & Account Management: Tenaciously pursue new market opportunities, build long-term rapport with influential buyers, conduct site visits, and provide consultation to convert prospects into successful business qualification trials.
Technical Sales & Quotation Management: Fetch incoming sales inquiries, assess complex client needs, and propose tailored product concepts and solutions. Prepare technical specifications, quotations, and drawings, and negotiate pricing and project timelines.
Cross-Functional & Production Coordination: Translate secured deals into clear, concise job orders for the production team, following up closely to ensure execution; coordinate with accounts receivable to verify billing data and support outstanding debt recovery.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Participate in regular sales and marketing meetings to provide accurate, timely reports on customer feedback and competitive trends, ensuring product offerings remain relevant to industry shifts.
Team Collaboration: Contribute actively to reaching collective team targets and provide operational backup to fellow team members when they are away.
Education & Experience: Minimum Diploma qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a regional sales or business development capacity.
Industry & Domain Expertise: Prior overseas exposure and a solid working knowledge of shipping containers and the container trade are essential.
Language Proficiency: Ability to speak either Japanese, Korean, Malay, or Bahasa Indonesia to effectively interface with regional stakeholders.
Core Attributes: Self-driven, highly adaptive, and deeply dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a track record of upholding high ethical business standards.
Logistics & Mobility: Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and ideally access to own vehicle to facilitate local client site visits.
