About Our Client:
Our client is a well-known Singapore-based freight forwarding and logistics partner delivering efficient, global supply chain solutions. The company specializes in Air & Sea freight, complex project cargo handling, road transport, courier services, and comprehensive warehousing solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and client visits to generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Identify potential customers and develop long-term business relationships through proactive outreach.
Prepare competitive quotations, negotiate freight rates, and follow up on sales inquiries to achieve monthly targets
Handle customer inquiries promptly, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment execution and excellent customer service.
Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
1 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics sales, or business development, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
Bring a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
