Basic information:
Job Scope:
Build and maintain strong relationships with marine and shipyard clients to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement.
Manage the complete sales process, including handling enquiries, RFQs, quotations, follow-ups, and sales closure.
Promote the company's marine products and services while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Work closely with operations teams, project personnel, and suppliers to support sourcing activities and ensure smooth project execution.
Track project progress, address issues proactively, and ensure timely completion of ship repair and marine projects.
Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, customer records, and performance updates for management review.
Drive customer engagement initiatives through feedback collection, service enhancement, and relationship-building activities.
Support business development efforts by leveraging existing networks and establishing new customer relationships.
Provide market intelligence and customer insights to internal teams to improve operational effectiveness and service delivery.
Perform ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Additional Information:
Holds a relevant tertiary qualification with 2–5 years of sales and marketing experience in marine/offshore or waste treatment industries, with a proven sales record.
Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on service quality and client satisfaction.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, able to engage diverse clients in a bilingual environment.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to changing business needs.
Self-motivated, resilient under pressure, and results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
Collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently when required.
