Job Summary

Lead sales efforts to grow freight forwarding business by developing new opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and driving team performance to achieve profitability targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Air Freight, Sea Freight, Cross Trade, Project Cargo, General Cargo, Warehousing, and 3PL logistics business lines
• Identify and secure new business opportunities by leveraging commercial acumen and market insights
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, importers/exporters, manufacturers, traders, and key decision-makers to expand customer base
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve business growth and profitability targets
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize gross profit and ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage an established customer portfolio to generate a minimum monthly gross profit of at least twice the monthly salary
• Track and report sales performance against targets, adjusting strategies to meet business objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Established customer portfolio in Project Cargo, General Cargo, Air Freight (Import & Export), Sea Freight (Import & Export), Cross Trade Shipments, Warehousing & Distribution, Contract Logistics / 3PL, E-commerce Logistics, and DG (Dangerous Goods) logistics solutions
