Sales & Business Development
• Develop and implement sales strategies and business plans to optimize sales, margins and profitability, and identify new business opportunities including new outlets.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the branch's monthly sales goals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify emerging markets, market shifts and business opportunities, while staying fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Analyze potential new outlet locations for bidding, considering location, customer buying power and projected revenue.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, revenue and expense reports, and budgets to the management team.
Outlet & Retail Operations
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail outlets (including remote management), ensuring efficiency, productivity, cleanliness and thorough quality control.
• Process sales using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle all payment types including foreign currency, and ensure end-of-shift cash reconciliation; advise cashiers on sales issues.
• Modify and customize the existing POS system modules to support new outlets.
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment and loss prevention, ensuring product availability on the selling floor without excessive stock holding.
• Use AI tools to automate processes from inventory management to daily sales reporting.
• Manage company bank accounts, including invoice payments, scheduled transfers and payment gateways.
• Maintain all sales and GST records for auditing purposes.
• Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, workplace safety requirements and company policies.
Team Leadership & People Management
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of 7–8 staff (sales team and cashiers) to achieve targets and enhance performance; allocate tasks to each staff member.
• Conduct daily store walk-throughs, roll calls and briefings to communicate key objectives, customer feedback and sales performance.
• Encourage teamwork and clear communication to maintain a positive work environment, ensuring adherence to HR policies at store level.
• Prepare job scopes, roles and responsibilities for staff replacement, and support the recruitment process in an HR capacity.
Customer Service &Relationships
• Greet customers, handle enquiries, resolve complaints promptly and professionally, and promote products to boost sales.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key contractors and vendors, and identify new vendors for lower-cost sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal departments (merchandising, marketing, supply chain) to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
• Represent the store and brand in a professional and positive manner.
Others
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
