We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to support business growth across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and promoting technology and connectivity solutions within the maritime sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal technical, operations, and delivery teams to support the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution development through to contract closure and account expansion.
Candidates with experience in maritime, satellite communications, telecommunications, or technology sales are highly preferred. Individuals from related industries with a proven track record in business development and account management are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Drive business development activities across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Identify and pursue new opportunities with vessel operators, ship managers, fleet owners, and other maritime stakeholders.
Develop and manage customer relationships to achieve revenue growth and long-term account retention.
Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and participate in industry events to strengthen market presence and build networks.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to support strategic sales initiatives.
Proposal & Commercial Support
Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and commercial presentations in collaboration with internal teams.
Gather and translate customer requirements into commercial and technical inputs for solution development.
Ensure customer expectations align with pricing, scope, and operational capabilities.
Support contract negotiations and assist with commercial discussions through to project award.
Account Management & Customer Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and ensure timely follow-up on enquiries and commitments.
Gather customer feedback and communicate insights internally to improve products, services, and customer experience.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Sales Operations
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, activity reports, and revenue forecasts.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and support teams to ensure successful execution of customer requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, proposal quality, and customer responsiveness.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role.
Experience within maritime, satellite communications, telecommunications, technology, or related industries is advantageous.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer accounts effectively.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented approach to sales.
Comfortable discussing technical products and translating technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Fluency in English and Mandarin, in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients
