Sales Support Executive

About the Role

A dynamic Sales Support role bridging Sales and Operations. You will drive business growth by preparing competitive proposals, coordinating with global freight partners, and ensuring exceptional client service from quotation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Proposal Development: Drive the sales process by preparing accurate and compelling quotations, pricing proposals, and cost breakdowns that balance competitiveness with profitability.

• Vendor & Partner Engagement: Forge strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and internal operations teams to source the most competitive freight rates and ensure flawless shipment coordination.

• Customer Service Excellence: Act as the trusted point of contact for clients, handling rate inquiries, shipment tracking, and issue resolution with professionalism and urgency.

• Tender & RFQ Support: Take charge of tender documentation and RFQ submissions for strategic accounts, ensuring all proposals are complete, compliant, and submitted ahead of deadlines.

• Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to Management, providing clear visibility into sales activities, shipment volumes, and operational metrics.

• Ad-Hoc Support: Undertake additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and agility of the team.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or sales support.

• Knowledge of sea and/or air freight operations is an advantage.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
