Job Description - Technical Business Development Manager (Non Manager)

  • Taking care and further development of relationship in his/her customer portfolio
  • Acquisition of new accounts in the defined market segments and/or business fields
  • Coordination of activities related to his/her accounts withing Division Medical to ensure synergies
  • Monitoring and ensuring growth of sales pipeline as well as frequent information to superior regarding activities and stage of projects.
  • Leading and coordination of price negotiations according to competencies, and ensuring competitive offerings from BAUMANN
  • Compilation of turnover and profitability budgets for the accounts
  • Reporting of major changes in markets and within accounts including proposal of set of activities
  • Participation at exhibitions and conferences, both as visitor and exhibitor including compilation of report containing recommendations
  • Build up and further development of existing market segments in alignment with strategic business field plans and strategies
  • Frequent visits to customers according to priorities and plan visit schedule
  • Ensuring customers are informed about news and developments with BAUMANN and collects updates from customers
  • Ensures relevant (basic) data in ERP system as well as salesforce are always updated
  • Supports and follows CRM philosophy
  • Utilizes available sales tools such as ERP, Salesforce, Outlook, Excel
  • Monitoring of customer contracts considering prerequisites from management
  • Negotiation with customers in case of cancellations, delay in payments and any other for BAUMANN negative topic
  • Frequent exchange with sales team colleagues of information related to accounts, project as well as markets

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years in Sales of technical products, sales of springs/stamping will be an advantage
  • Min a technical or commercial background or related diploma
  • A degree in Sales or Marketing will be advantages
  • Fluent in communication in both English & Chinese
