Urgent hiring: Sales Manager, SEA (Polystyrene/Polymer)

Responsibilities:

• Lead sales activities across Southeast Asia and selected international markets, including sales forecasting, order management, quotations, credit control, customer relationship management, and complaint resolution.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and developments within the Polystyrene industry to support business planning and budgeting.
• Drive business growth by developing new customers, with a strong focus on the Electrical & Electronics (E&E) sector.
• Lead the Recycled HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) business by identifying market opportunities and building a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Manage distributors and sales channels to maximize market penetration, brand presence, and profitability.
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Recommend improvements to logistics and distribution strategies based on market conditions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc sales and market reports, including competitive analysis and sales forecasts.
• Monitor customer payments and overdue accounts in collaboration with the Commercial Assistant.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Polymer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in the polymer or plastics industry.
• Strong knowledge of plastic applications, particularly in consumer electronics and packaging.
• Experience managing distributors and regional sales channels.
• Excellent customer relationship management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Willingness to travel overseas as required.
