VP Retail APAC

We are looking for a commercially driven and strategically minded retail leader to join the WS Audiology commercial organization as VP Retail APAC. Reporting directly to the President APAC and leading a team of two, you will play a key role in driving the strategic direction and commercial growth of our retail business across the Asia Pacific region, partnering closely with country leaders to shape tailored retail strategies and accelerate footprint growth.

What you will do

• Partner with country leaders to develop and execute tailored retail strategies that reflect local market dynamics while aligning to WSA’s global retail ambitions
• Lead retail expansion initiatives across APAC, including identifying and executing M&A opportunities in close collaboration with country teams
• Deploy the WSA Retail Maturity Model and retail systems across the region, driving consistency, excellence and continuous improvement in retail operations
• Champion and embed the WSA retail brand strategy at the country level, ensuring brand integrity and a differentiated customer experience across all retail touchpoints
• Drive the regional rollout of GRIT and define a 3-year retail strategy for each country, balancing near-term commercial performance with long-term growth ambitions
• Identify new market opportunities and formats to accelerate retail footprint growth, and support the delivery of broader strategic initiatives across the APAC retail portfolio

What you bring

• 10+ years of retail leadership experience, ideally within a multi-country or regional remit, with solid experience driving commercial growth and operational excellence
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate global direction into locally relevant, executable plans that deliver measurable impact
• Experience with P&L ownership, including hands-on management of retail operations, budgets and commercial performance across complex, multi-market environments
• Solid analytical capabilities, comfortable working with data to identify opportunities, diagnose performance gaps and inform strategic decision-making
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with good people leadership skills, able to inspire and mobilize teams and country stakeholders in a matrixed, fast-paced organization; experience in retail expansion and M&A within the APAC context is advantageous
• Effective communicator and collaborator, at ease engaging with frontline teams and senior executive stakeholders, with an international profile and experience working across countries and cultures.
