Quality Control (QC) Inspector / QC Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on incoming, stored, and outgoing flanges, pipes, fittings, and related products.
• Verify product specifications, dimensions, materials, quantities, markings, and documentation against customer and purchase requirements.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments and gauges.
• Ensure products comply with applicable standards such as ASME, ASTM, ANSI, DIN, JIS, EN, and customer specifications.
• Review Mill Test Certificates (MTC), inspection reports, and quality documents.
• Investigate product quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolutions relating to quality matters.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.
• Work closely with suppliers, warehouse personnel, sales staff, and customers on quality-related matters.
• Monitor and improve quality control procedures and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
• Supervise and train QC personnel where applicable.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality control, inspection, or quality assurance within the piping, steel, engineering, marine, oil & gas, or industrial products industry.
• Good knowledge of flanges, pipes, fittings, valves, and industrial materials.
• Familiarity with international standards including ASME, ASTM, ANSI, DIN, JIS, and EN standards will be an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Monday to Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
