Bunker Trader Trainee

About the job

The Bunker Trader Trainee is responsible to support the Key Account Manager

to purchase, sell and supply marine fuel within the shipping industry to the best

interest of Bunker Holding Group in order to maximize the business and to the

customers satisfaction.

You will be working with the largest global shipping companies and gain unique

experience with global energy producers and vendors.

Using data and statistics, you will work with both the Trade Support and Key Account

Manager teams to set goals, develop customer and supplier centric account plans and

ensure successful implementation of these plans for key accounts and stakeholders.

More specifically your area of responsibility includes:

- Plan and coordinate both trading and operation activities with customers and

vendors

- Support and work with trading (front office) and support desks (middle office)

to correspond with suppliers, inter-office and customers pertaining to orders

operational matters

- You will follow a comprehensive training program to understand both the

middle office and front office activities

- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing

reports to trading and sales desks

- Identify business opportunities and support business development activities

(Market research)

- Working with both trading and support desks to Understand customer needs,

negotiate price and close deals

- Working with both trading and support desks to Interaction with local ports

and supply agents to stable delivery

Expected skills and experience:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Driven and proactive mindset to learn is a must

- Good analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and

disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

- BS in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Shipping/Trading or Statistics

- Fresh graduate welcome
