Trade Operations Specialist - Singapore

Then this exciting and challenging position as Trade Operations Specialist, in one of the world’s largest suppliers of marine fuels, might be the right opportunity for you.
As a Trade Operations your primary goal will be to support the Front Office with operational support that covers contract management, claim administration, operational scheduling of bunker deliveries, post deal administration and reporting against set KPI’s. You will be based in our office in Singapore and work with colleagues, suppliers, agents and customers from our offices worldwide.

KPI Ocean Connect Global Accounts purchase and deliver marine fuels to some of the world’s largest shipping companies in over 150 ports globally. You will report to our Head of Trade support and our regional Commercial Director and be part of a 7-person team.

What are we looking for:
We seek an analytical individual who knows how to manage numerous project tracks within a set timeline. It is important that you have a great eye for detail and structure and critical mindset. It will be and advantage if you already have relevant working experience within shipping industry (e.g. agencies, freight forwarding, operations would be helpful) and are comfortable with systems such as Power BI, Sales Force, shipping tracking systems.
Furthermore, you will be required to work independently and under pressure. You are self-motivated and meticulous as well as proactive with an eye to detail. It is a requirement that you are proficient in English and MS Office Applications.
We are looking for someone able to work in the role on long term basis, organised and focused and can form good interpersonal relation ships with peers and front office team members.
