Security Officer (Central)

Job Overview

• Location: Central

• Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts (8:30 AM–8:30 PM / 8:30 PM–8:30 AM) with rotating off days

What You'll Do

• Patrol the property to keep the premises safe and secure.

• Monitor CCTV, fire alarm, access control, lifts, escalators, and other security systems.

• Control access to restricted areas and prevent unauthorised entry.

• Respond to security, medical, fire, and other emergency situations.

• Prepare incident reports and maintain proper records.

• Enforce property rules, no-smoking policy, permit-to-work requirements, and traffic regulations.

• Assist tenants, visitors, and members of the public with enquiries and directions.

• Support emergency response, evacuation exercises, lost & found, and traffic/crowd control duties.

What We're Looking For

• Valid PLRD Security Officer (SO) Licence.

• At least 1–2 years of Security Officer experience.

• Comfortable walking and standing for long hours.

• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime when required.

• Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and report writing skills.

• Advantage if you have Occupational First Aid + AED, CERT, WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Buildings, or MCST property management experience with knowledge of BMSMA By-Laws.
