Technology Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the security technology and services sector.
• Analyze client needs and industry demand to develop targeted business strategies.
• Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

2. Business Development & Sales Strategy

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and other outreach efforts.
• Develop tailored proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of the company’s security technology and services offerings.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns that support business development initiatives.

3. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any issues that arise.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

4. Collaboration & Team Leadership

• Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sales and business development staff.
• Work closely with the product development team to provide customer feedback and market insights that guide product innovation.

5. Reporting & Performance Management

• Prepare regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and performance against targets.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement in business development efforts.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the security technology or services industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of security technology and services, including cybersecurity, physical security, and security consulting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and trends.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
