AI DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

You will design and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines integrating GenAI tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance DevSecOps practices and ensure compliance in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate code deployment by designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using selected tooling
• Integrate GenAI tools into development workflows to enhance secure software development, including AI-assisted code review and automated documentation
• Implement security-by-design principles across build, test, release, and deployment stages to enforce robust security controls
• Automate secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy enforcement, and compliance validation to strengthen security posture
• Implement and monitor security baselines and controls for code repositories, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Manage secure artifact and container registries to ensure integrity and compliance
• Develop guardrails and risk mitigation strategies for GenAI-enabled development processes to reduce operational risks
• Collaborate with platform engineering, cybersecurity, and IT teams to ensure secure, scalable delivery processes
• Provide DevSecOps best practices and guidance to platform and engineering teams to improve security awareness and implementation
• Contribute to operational readiness, observability, and incident response playbooks related to platform deployments
• Support security and compliance processes as part of development workflows and regular audits

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or cybersecurity with at least 1 year focused on DevSecOps

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience implementing and operating Atlassian, GitLab, and/or Azure DevOps platforms
• Understanding of cloud security practices, networking, and access control in hybrid environments
• Knowledge of integrating GenAI tools into developer workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical risks and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
