About the Role

We are looking for a talented and driven AI Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. This is a full-time, permanent role open to fresh graduates, including those completing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree. You will work on building and deploying scalable AI systems, contributing to our video generation foundation model and the broader Moment AI platform.

This role is well suited for a graduate who combines strong theoretical foundations with a practical, engineering-first mindset, someone who is ready to move beyond academic prototypes and build AI systems that operate reliably at scale in the real world.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and AI components into production environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Apply state-of-the-art techniques in areas such as generative AI, computer vision, video understanding, or multimodal learning to solve complex, commercially meaningful problems.
• Build and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines, spanning data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment, in close collaboration with research scientists and infrastructure engineers.
• Optimise and fine-tune models for performance, accuracy, and computational efficiency across different deployment environments.
• Work closely with product stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor deployed models in production, identify performance degradation or data drift, and implement improvements iteratively.
• Contribute to the team's technical direction, participate in design reviews, and uphold high standards of code quality and engineering best practices.
• Stay current with the latest advances in AI research, evaluate emerging techniques for practical applicability, and bring rigorous thinking to every stage of the development process.

Requirements

• Recently graduated or about to graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field from a recognised local or international university.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with solid working knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Sound understanding of machine learning fundamentals, statistical modelling, and deep learning architectures.
• Ability to work independently on technical problems, take ownership of deliverables, and see tasks through from design to deployment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
