Job Summary

The Application Developer is responsible for supporting and enhancing ERP systems and business applications to ensure stable and efficient operations. This role focuses on system support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a multi‑country environment, ensuring business processes are effectively supported by reliable IT solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into system configurations or enhancements. You will also contribute to ERP and system project delivery, supporting implementation, testing, and ongoing system optimisation to improve performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end ERP support to ensure stable daily system operations

• Monitor system performance and resolve issues through timely troubleshooting

• Handle first‑level user support via ticket management and issue resolution

• Support ERP and system project delivery from planning through implementation

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors on project activities

• Assist in system testing, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilisation

• Gather and translate business requirements into system configurations or enhancements

• Support SQL queries, reporting, and data validation

• Develop user training materials and system documentation
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma (ITE/Polytechnic in IT or related discipline), or equivalent qualification

• Relevant training in programming languages and database systems

• Experience in ERP support (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Epicor), including configuration and troubleshooting

• Working knowledge of SQL and database systems

• Exposure to software development, coding, and system functionality

• Understanding of ERP architecture, data flow, and business processes

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Basic understanding of financial concepts is an advantage

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to follow through on tasks

• Collaborative team player with good communication skills

• Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, agile environment

• Committed to timely delivery and quality outcomes

• Willing to support business needs such as travel, where required
