Assistant Test Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Test Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of software testing activities for mission-critical IT systems. Working closely with the Test Manager, you will lead a team of Test Engineers while remaining hands-on in testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and compliant software solutions

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the Test Manager in planning and managing SIT, UAT, Regression, DR, and Verification Testing activities.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of Test Engineers, assigning tasks and monitoring testing progress.
• Execute and oversee functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test reports, and testing documentation.
• Manage defects, lead defect triage sessions, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Support API and automation testing using tools such as Postman and Playwright.
• Coordinate with project managers, developers, system engineers, and business users throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• At least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring testing teams.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing, STLC, SIT/UAT, API testing, and defect management.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, Playwright, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
