Business Development Manager (AI Assurance / AI Governance)

Join a pioneering initiative that is shaping the future of trusted AI in Singapore and across Asia. This role offers the opportunity to drive industry adoption, build strategic partnerships, and support the growth of the AI assurance ecosystem.

You will work closely with AI testing firms, technology providers, industry stakeholders, and senior business leaders to grow an accreditation programme focused on AI safety, governance, and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow programme adoption and industry participation
• Drive outreach and engagement with companies providing AI testing, assurance, or related technology services
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective programme participants and partners
• Conduct high-level assessments of companies’ technical capabilities, operational readiness, and business suitability
• Develop value propositions and engagement initiatives to encourage long-term participation
• Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders, technology partners, and senior management teams
• Support ecosystem growth through strategic partnerships, collaboration opportunities, and business expansion initiatives
• Contribute to go-to-market strategies, industry engagement, and programme positioning efforts
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to strengthen the AI assurance ecosystem

Requirements

• Singaporean Only
• Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Around 5–8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, programme management, or ecosystem development
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience engaging senior executives and industry partners
• Experience in B2B, technology, professional services, innovation, or regulatory-related environments is advantageous
• Ability to evaluate business capabilities, operational readiness, and growth potential
• Strong strategic thinking and relationship management capabilities
• Exposure to AI, software testing, AI governance, quality assurance, or related technology domains will be an advantage
