Job Description - Business Development Manager (IT Services & Solutions)

🎯 Key Responsibilities

📈 Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across enterprise and corporate clients.

  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and industry events.

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.

  • Develop account growth strategies and long-term customer relationships.

  • Drive end-to-end sales activities from prospecting to deal closure.

🤝 Client Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with CXOs, IT Heads, Procurement Teams, and key decision-makers.

  • Understand client business challenges and recommend suitable IT solutions.

  • Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts.

💻 IT Solution Sales

  • Promote IT Services, Software Development, Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Solutions, AI, Data Analytics, ERP, CRM, and Digital Transformation services.

  • Work closely with technical teams to prepare customized solutions and proposals.

  • Prepare RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations.

📊 Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer requirements.

  • Develop strategic business plans to expand market presence.

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

  • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.

📑 Proposal & Contract Management

  • Prepare commercial proposals and pricing strategies.

  • Coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams during proposal preparation.

  • Support contract negotiations and project handover.

📈 Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain CRM with accurate sales pipeline and customer information.

  • Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates.

  • Monitor sales KPIs and revenue performance.

✅ Required Qualifications

🎓 Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.

💼 Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of Business Development or IT Sales experience.

  • Proven experience selling IT Services or Software Solutions.

  • Strong enterprise B2B sales experience.

  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
