Cloud Architect

In this role, you will bridge the gap between third-party cloud applications and secure enterprise environments. Your core focus areas include:

• Evaluate, recommend, and onboard third-party vendor software (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) into internal platforms and digital marketplaces.
• Lead technical and commercial assessments of vendor offerings while shaping operational models and SLA frameworks.
• Partner with internal teams to track vendor SLA adherence, orchestrate patches/upgrades, manage escalation paths, and lead regular service reviews.
• Partner with compliance teams to ensure all managed services meet strict government regulations, data sovereignty rules, and secure architecture standards.
• Work alongside cross-domain Cloud Architects to build robust solutions and provide advisory support on emerging technology trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience spanning IT consulting, managed services, cloud platforms, or vendor management.
• Proven experience evaluating and onboarding third-party enterprise tools, with a strong preference for individuals who have worked in sovereign, government, or highly regulated environments.
• Practical expertise with Private/Hybrid cloud configurations and service orchestration workflows.
• Functional, hands-on understanding of API integration and connectivity.
• Solid grasp of ITIL/ITSM service delivery frameworks alongside industry data compliance standards.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, structured problem-solving mindsets, and the ability to drive multiple vendor initiatives simultaneously
