Cloud Migration Technical Architect

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a senior Cloud Migration Technical Architect who will Lead and execute enterprise cloud migration programs across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, designing strategies and architectures while ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enterprise cloud migration programs across hybrid and multi-cloud environments to achieve seamless transitions.
• Design cloud migration strategies, landing zones, target architectures, and detailed migration roadmaps to align with business goals.
• Lead migration execution, conduct technical governance, perform architecture reviews, and facilitate customer workshops to ensure project success.
• Provide Level 4 technical support for complex cloud and infrastructure issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Ensure security, compliance, business continuity, and operational excellence throughout all migration projects.

Required competencies and certifications

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• TOGAF Certified
• ITIL 4 Foundation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 10+ years in Infrastructure Architecture with 5+ years in Cloud Architecture.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise cloud migrations.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory/Entra ID, Backup & Disaster Recovery.
• Strong knowledge of Networking technologies including VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Firewalls, Load Balancers, DNS, and Routing.
• Experience with migration tools such as Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, AWS MGN, AWS Migration Hub, VMware HCX.
• Automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or Ansible.
• Experience with Cloud Governance, Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Security Architecture, and Migration Planning.
