CLOUD OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Role Summary

We are seeking an Cloud OperationsEngineer to support daily operations and project activities for Bank’ssystems ().

The resource will be responsible for BAUoperations, incident management, system maintenance, and infrastructureimplementation in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

·       Perform daily infrastructure operations(BAU support)

·       Deploy and configure solutions in cloud

·       Participate in setup and POC

·       Monitor systems and handle incidenttroubleshooting & resolution

·       Support server build, configuration, anddeployment activities

·       Execute patching, upgrade, and changerequests

·       Assist in root cause analysis (RCA)for incidents

·       Maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs)

·       Ensure compliance with security andaudit requirements

Technical Requirements

• OS: Windows Server and Linux (RHEL)
• Virtualization: VMware (ESXi / Virtual environments)
• Middleware (preferred): IBM MQ, Connect:Direct, BizTalk
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with:
• OS/Database hardening (security baseline)
• Vulnerability Assessment / remediation
• Monitoring tools (JP1, Solarwinds, etc..)
• Backup systems (Arcserve, Veeam, etc..)
• Basic networking concepts

Experience Required

• 3–10 years of Infrastructure / System Engineering experience/
• Experience in banking / financial services preferred
• Exposure to payment systems is an advantage

Key Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
• Knowledge of incident, change, and problem management
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a mission-critical production environment

Additional Notes

• Role with collaboration across client, vendors, and NEC teams
• May require 24 x 7 on-call support (if needed)
• Immediate / early availability preferred
