Cybersecurity Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the security architecture supporting our cloud platforms, AI systems, and client-facing solutions. The role combines deep technical expertise with stakeholder coordination responsibilities, including client onboarding support, security reviews, and collaboration with external technology partners.

What You'll Do

•      Security Architecture & Engineering

o   Design secure cloud and application architectures across AWS environments, APIs, networks, and AI-driven platforms. Develop security standards, controls, and threat models aligned with industry best practices and regulatory expectations for financial institutions.

•      Client Onboarding & Technical Assurance

o   Support enterprise client onboarding by conducting security architecture reviews, responding to technical due diligence questionnaires, and ensuring integrations meet client security and compliance requirements. Act as a trusted technical advisor during implementation and onboarding phases.

•      Vendor & Partner Coordination

o   Work closely with strategic technology partners, including AWS and Cloudflare, as well as other cybersecurity and infrastructure vendors. Participate in technical evaluations, onboarding of new security technologies, and coordination of enterprise support and service delivery arrangements.

•      Commercial & Cross-functional Collaboration

o   Collaborate with internal engineering, DevOps, product, and leadership teams to assess technology requirements, support vendor negotiations from a technical standpoint, and align security capabilities with business and client needs.

•      Risk Management & Compliance

o   Conduct security assessments, oversee vulnerability management and penetration testing activities, monitor security posture, and support compliance with relevant cybersecurity and financial industry frameworks.

•      Innovation & Continuous Improvement

o   Evaluate emerging cybersecurity, cloud, and AI technologies, recommending enhancements that strengthen platform resilience, scalability, and protection against evolving threats.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, information security, or related cybersecurity functions.
• Experience conducting security assessments, threat modelling, vulnerability management, penetration testing oversight, and security architecture reviews.
• Familiarity with enterprise security technologies and platforms, including web application security, API security, SIEM, EDR/XDR, WAF, and network protection solutions. Experience working with technologies from partners such as AWS and Cloudflare is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise client onboarding, responding to security due diligence questionnaires, participating in security audits, and addressing client security and compliance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience evaluating cybersecurity vendors and supporting technical discussions relating to solution selection, implementation, and service delivery.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced deep-tech environment while managing multiple priorities and cross-functional projects.
