Cybersecurity Engineer ( E-payment)

Our client is a well-known company in the e-payment domain in the region.

Summary of role :

• Work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive cybersecurity excellence.
• Leverage expertise in cybersecurity standards, protocols, and frameworks to ensure organization-wide compliance with relevant regulations, including the Cyber Security Act and MAS Cyber Hygiene and Technology Risk Management Notices.
• Bring proficiency in a range of industry-leading cybersecurity solutions to the table, enhancing the organization's security posture.

Job scope :

Cybersecurity Solutions Management & Operations :

• Oversee, operate, and optimize a diverse portfolio of cybersecurity solutions, including:
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
• Email Defenses
• Endpoint Protection (EPP)
• Vulnerability Management
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)/Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
• Data Access Management (DAM)
• Proxies
• Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
• Implement, operationalize, and optimize new cybersecurity solutions as needed
• Provide support for incident response efforts, including mitigation measures

Requirements :

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related fields

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in an AWS environment

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of various Operating Systems, including Linux, Unix, and Windows
• Programming and scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus

Certifications:

• Security certifications like GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, or GNFA are desirable
• Product certifications in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Access Management (DAM), and Vulnerability Management (VM) are advantageous

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Familiarity with MAS Cyber Hygiene (PSN06) and Technology Risk Management (PSN05) Notices, MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, Cybersecurity Act, and Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCoP)
