Data Analyst – Talend Data Integration / Informatica BDM (Singaporean Only)

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong Talend data integration expertise to support data lifecycle management, data supply chains, and business analytics initiatives. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience in Talend and must be keen to learn and work on Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) as part of the role. The role involves sourcing, analyzing, transforming, and presenting data from multiple data sources to support key business stakeholders. You will work closely with data engineering teams, project managers, and technical leads to operationalize insights, build data pipelines, support dashboard visualizations, and contribute to high-quality, dependable, and cost-effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support data integration workflows using Talend.
• Be willing to learn and work on Informatica BDM for enterprise data integration and data pipeline activities.
• Extract, normalize, transform, and validate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Support end-to-end data lifecycle management, including data sourcing, cleansing, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
• Build and maintain SQL queries, data pipelines, and data preparation workflows to support business and performance insights.
• Work with data engineering teams to rationalize and optimize the data warehouse across the data lifecycle.
• Analyze company data to identify sources, features, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Create clear, usable, and meaningful dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.
• Work closely with project managers and technical leads to provide regular status updates.
• Support issue analysis, refine problem statements, and propose suitable data and analytics solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation for data processes, mappings, workflows, and automation activities.
• Ensure adherence to security, service management, operational controls, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Contribute ideas to improve engineering practices, data design, automation, and data strategy.
• Work in cross-functional teams involving technical, business, and data science stakeholders.
• Deliver work within waterfall or agile software development lifecycle methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in Talend Data Integration.
• Must be keen and willing to learn Informatica BDM for the role.
• Strong SQL skills with experience building and maintaining complex queries and data pipelines.
• Experience in data analysis, data transformation, data validation, and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with BI or reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Basic scripting capability using Python, R, or similar scripting languages to operationalize data analytics workflows.
• Good analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Good communication skills to understand business requirements and translate them into data-centric solutions.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, data integration, or data visualization.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to Informatica BDM or other Informatica data integration platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Cloudera, or other cloud/data platforms.
• Data pipeline development or database development experience.
• Knowledge of statistical modelling, predictive analytics, or machine learning.
• Experience working in agile or waterfall delivery environments.
• Certifications in any of the following platforms would be advantageous:

6. Microsoft Power BI / Azure Data
7. SAS
8. IBM data analytics platforms
